The client is an epicurean who loves to cook and entertain, so the objective was to convert into a space that fulfills such function and accommodate all the bells and whistles of appliances, wine fridge, ice maker machine, and 48″ gas range. This kitchen renovation was part of an overall remodel of the house. The kitchen was enclosed with an opening to the adjacent dining with an awkward diagonal counter and a not functional small island.

We created a visual connection to the living room by opening the walls and creating a service bar with seating on the living room side. The center island offers seating and hosts the sink to offering the opportunity of more countertop space on the range wall.
